Shake off those inhibitions and come and see what all the fuss is about. This is a gentle step-by-step approach to putting pen to paper and building up the courage to go out there and capture the urban scene. You’ll soon be hooked.
The workshop starts with a short presentation on what urban sketching is all about and a preview of the day’s activities. When everyone is set we hit the streets and do a series of demonstrations and group exercises.
You’ll overcome your fear of drawing outside and build up some techniques that will set you on the road to becoming an urban sketcher.
We’ll take a break for lunch which is not included.
£40 per person. (Two ‘pay-what-you-can-afford’ places for benefit (UC or similar) claimants. If you qualify please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me how much you’d like to pay. Only two places and first come, first served).
What to bring: A short equipment list will follow after booking but don’t worry it’s not too arduous and I have spares.
The workshop will run whatever the weather.
To book: please email me: email@example.com and I will send payment instructions. Places are limited and are only secured once full payment is received.
