Workshop by Len Grant
Saturday 27th April, 2019 10-1.30.
Manchester’s Northern Quarter
£40 per person. (Two ‘pay-what-you-can-afford’ places for Universal Credit claimants).
Shake off those inhibitions and come and see what all the fuss is about. This is a gentle step-by-step approach to putting pen to paper and building up the courage to go out there and capture the urban scene. You’ll soon be hooked.
The workshop starts with a short presentation on what urban sketching is all about and a preview of the morning’s activities. When everyone is set we hit the streets and do a series of demonstrations and group exercises.
You’ll overcome your fear of drawing outside and build up some techniques that will set you on the road to becoming an urban sketcher.
After lunch (not provided) you have the option to stick around and sketch some more of the Northern Quarter. This casual afternoon session is not taught although I will be on hand to offer further encouragement and advice.
£40 per person. (Two ‘pay-what-you-can-afford’ places for Universal Credit claimants. If you qualify please email me: email@example.com and tell me how much you’d like to pay. Only two places and first come, first served).
What to bring: A short equipment list will follow after booking but don’t worry it’s not too arduous and I have spares.
The workshop will run whatever the weather.
To book: please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org and I will send payment instructions. Places are limited and are only secured once full payment is received.
